Slow Cooker Chicken Masala

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup whole-milk plain yogurt (not Greek)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • Chopped fresh cilantro
  • Cooked rice or naan, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken, yogurt, and 1 teaspoon of the salt in a 4-quart or larger slow cooker and stir to combine. 
  2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat until shimmering. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 8 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, coriander, garam masala, cumin, and turmeric and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the tomato paste and cook until darkened in color, about 1 minute. Add the drained tomatoes and remaining 1/2 teaspoon of salt and bring to a simmer, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Transfer to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the chicken. 
  3. Cover and cook on the HIGH setting for 4 hours or LOW setting for 8 hours. Stir in the cream or coconut milk. If you prefer a thicker sauce, leave the slow cooker uncovered and cook on the HIGH setting for 30 minutes. Taste and season with salt as needed. Serve garnished with cilantro with rice or naan. 

Recipe Notes

Using chicken breasts: Chicken breasts can be substituted for the thighs, although I find thighs hold up better over the long cooking and breasts tend to fall into shreds. Still delicious, though!

Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes

Hands-On Time: 10 Mins
Total Time: 40 Mins
Yield: Serves 8

Ingredients:
1. 4 pounds red potatoes (about 8), halved
2. kosher salt and black pepper
3. 2 cups sour cream
4. ½ cup milk
5. 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter
6. 2 scallions, chopped

Preparation:
1. Place the potatoes in a large pot and add enough cold water to cover. Add 2 teaspoons salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until tender, 15 to 18 minutes. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.

2. Add the sour cream, milk, butter, 1 teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper to the potatoes and mash to the desired consistency. Sprinkle with the scallions.

Mexican Beef & Rice Casserole


Ingredient:
 Select All
 1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
 1-1/2 cups KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Four Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA, divided
 1 pkg. (1 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
 1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, peas)
 1 can (14.5 oz.) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained
 1 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Medium Salsa
 1 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

Preparation:
1. Heat oven to 375ºF.
2. Brown meat in large nonstick skillet; drain. Return meat to skillet.
3. Reserve 1 cup cheese for later use. Add remaining cheese and all remaining ingredients to meat; mix well.
4. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover.
5. Bake 40 to 50 min. or until rice is tender. Top with reserved cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted.

1. Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Frozen Cups Pastry Dough, 24 Count, 9.5 oz. Box - $4.88 in Walmart;
2. Durian, Read Bean Paste, can be inside. 榴莲和叉烧: 榴莲剥出果肉,搅拌一下变成泥。叉烧切碎成丁
3. 预热10-15分钟,让烤箱温度到400℉。然后放进去400℉烤25分钟,香喷喷出炉了。

Hard Taco的制作

1. 1 lb Ground Beef;
2. 1 pkg Taco Powder;
3. pack Sour Cream;
4. shredded Cheese;
5. shredded Iceberg Lettuce;
6. dice Tomato;
7. 12 Taco Shells $2.00
8. Drink or Coffee

Preparation:
1. Ground Beef and Taco Powder in fried pan, decide if adding salt by tasting;
2. Taco Shell 3 or 4 in Oven for 4 minutes, 60 secs in Microwave;
3. Dump taco beef, sour cream, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, dice tomato;
4. Pour soft drink or coffee.

越式三明治

配料:
腌萝卜步骤,白萝卜胡萝卜切丝用
一汤匙鱼露
一汤匙苹果醋
一汤匙调的酱汁
腌制10多分钟即可。这是我自己从别的地方看到的方法。

黄瓜;
辣椒;
腌萝卜丝;
罗勒(youwei)=九层塔=越南薄荷;
香葱;
香菜;
鸡蛋;

maggi调味酱汁;
法国鹅肝酱;
蛋黄酱;

各种喜欢的熟肉类;

长棍面包;

做法如下:
-烤箱预热到205度,放入面包烤3-5分钟,在面包烤到温热后,在长面包上面划开不要彻底切开,要留底部相连接。
-在面包切开的一边抹上家禽肝脏酱,另一边抹上黄油。
-在面包边上挤上蛋黄酱。
-然后喷上美极鲜调味酱。
-把你喜欢的熟肉,黄瓜,辣椒塞入面包。
-然后再加入腌萝卜胡萝卜

-最后撒上香料蔬菜,并添加一些拉差酱或是你喜欢的的味道! 就可以享用!
